AUSTRALIAN TOY DISTRIBUTORS LAUNCH OF CASDON AND DYSON HAIR CARE

 

OUR CHALLENGE

Progressive PR & Communications was engaged by the Australian Toy Distributors to generate social and traditional media coverage around the launch of Casdon and Dyson’s hair care toy range. The campaign raised awareness of the product and its launch through key retailers.

OUR RESPONSE

Progressive PR proposed an influencer campaign in the run up to Christmas to push the new product as ideal Christmas gifts. The gift boxes were designed around the playing hairdressers theme and included hair ties, hair bands and lollipops to recreate the hairdresser experience.

Alongside the influencer campaign, we pitched to traditional media to target Christmas gift round ups.

OUR OUTCOMES

  • 55 social media posts across 15 accounts, including Instagram reels, stories, static posts and Tik Toks.

  • Total estimated reach 2, 753,500

  • Traditional media highlights include, the Today Show’s Tops Toys for Christmas segment. Coverage in Total Girl, Mama Mag and Just Kidding.
