OUR CHALLENGE
Progressive PR & Communications were engaged to deliver a national campaign to Tier One media only for Ovarian Cancer Australia’s Workout4Women fundraising appeal.
Ovarian Cancer Australia is calling on Australians to walk or run four kilometres every day (one kilometre for each woman diagnosed with ovarian cancer each day) in November2021 as part of the Workout4Women challenge to raise much needed funds and support Australian women living with ovarian cancer.
OUR RESPONSE
PPR&C proposed a campaign that would use powerful human-interest stories to capture media attention and provide a means to get the Workout4Women fundraising appeal message to the general public.
Case studies were the focus of the campaign and were the means to leverage key messages through media channels.
OUR OUTCOMES
The campaign which commenced Monday 27 September, 2021 finished on Tuesday 30 November, 2021 and reached an audience of over 790,590 and had an advertising space rate of over $175,430 AUD.
Highlights included Weekend Sunrise, Studio 10, WHO magazine, 2GB House of Wellness, 9Honey, Courier Mail and ABC Radio Brisbane.
