THE BRIEF
We were tasked to deliver a national PR campaign with a Victorian focus to help celebrate the 110th anniversary of Luna Park - Australia’s oldest and most treasured heritage amusement park.
OUR RESPONSE
We worked alongside the team at Luna Park to create a media release to officially announce the 110th anniversary, which was then used to place stories thought the campaign. We pitched in several spokespeople for interviews and comments which garnered coverage across print, TV and radio.
We produced two media calls, one to announce the restoration of Mr Moon and another once the restoration was completed in early December. To help celebrate Community Day we also compiled a list of influencers to invite for coverage on social media.
RESULTS
Overall, we secured a total of 301 news media clips which had a total estimated reach of 13.4 million and an advertising space rate of $1,257,068. Coverage highlights included news stories with Channel 7 and 9 TV News, TODAY show weather crosses and a Sunrise news package. Print stories ran in the Herald Sun and across various regional newspapers alongside digital stories.
