OUR CHALLENGE
PPR&C were appointed to develop a strategic PR campaign to help amplify Kidney Health Australia’s (KHA) Early Detection campaign urging the 1 in 3 Australians at risk of kidney disease to take action to detect the disease in the early stages, before kidney failure strikes.
OUR RESPONSE
PPR&C proposed a campaign that focused on the face of the campaign and his personal story of seven hours a day, five days a week on a dialysis machine.
The campaign was broadened to include relevant rural and regional, state and national media in the lead up to the commencement date of the Early Detection campaign.
OUR OUTCOMES
Highlights in terms of coverage were Shane’s story in The Age and Sydney Morning Herald, which also appeared on multiple newspaper websites, multiple ABC Radio interviews, and a WIN TV interview.
