Yarraville’s Newest Party Hotspot: Hotel Mexico Opens with a Fiesta-Fuelled Celebration!
Hotel Mexico has officially opened its doors, set to become the heartbeat of Yarraville’s fiesta with an epic lineup of drinks, entertainment, and Mexican street food—all under one roof.
The team behind newly opened, Bar Mexico are excited to bring to life Hotel Mexico, which has transformed the longstanding Yarraville institution "The Mersh" into a modern Mexican hotspot.
“We’re thrilled to bring the vibrant spirit of Hotel Mexico to life and open our doors to the people of the inner West. With the launch of both Hotel Mexico and Bar Mexico, we’re pouring out an authentic Mexican fiesta, complete with lively drinks and an unbeatable party vibe, right here in Melbourne,” said owner John Forman.
Blending classic hotel charm with the energy of a Mexican fiesta, Hotel Mexico offers guests a vibrant atmosphere, featuring a newly designed bar, an expansive beer garden, and a versatile event space equipped with its own outdoor rooftop deck.
With a focus on offering a drink for every occasion, Hotel Mexico boasts over 50 types of Tequila and an impressive range of cocktails. Guests can enjoy a classic Margarita, with Nodo Tequilana Blanco, Marionette Orange Curacao, and Organic Agave Nectar, or indulge in a Mexican Paradise crafted with Nodo Coconut, Marionette Pineapple, and Yuzu Soda.
Bringing authentic Mexican street food to Yarraville, guests can savour the rich flavours of dishes like flautas, jalapeño poppers, and nachos topped with creamy melted cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and jalapeños.
Large groups are encouraged to try the specialty Taco Feast, allowing guests to build their own tacos or explore the extensive selection of tacos and quesadillas.
Hotel Mexico is set to become the party place of the inner west, hosting DJs every Friday and Saturday until 2 a.m., followed by lively Sunday sessions. The party atmosphere will keep guests dancing to live music all weekend long.
Crafted for ultimate fun, Hotel Mexico boasts a dedicated games zone, fully equipped with air hockey tables, basketball hoops, old-school Daytona racing, and larger-than-life versions of Jenga and Connect 4.
Open Wednesday through Sunday, Hotel Mexico is located at 238 Whitehall St, Yarraville VIC 3013, and joins Bar Mexico (Preston) in becoming one of Melbourne’s hottest Mexican outposts.
