SOLIDTEKNICS LAUNCHES ITS FIRST RANGE OF KITCHEN UTENSILS
Solidteknics, Australia’s leading non-toxic cookware brand has launched its first range of kitchen utensils. The two new products, the Lil Flippa and TSS (Turner, Scraper and Scooper) are designed from a single sheet of non-nickel stainless steel or titanium (Lil Flippa only) with no screws, joins or rivets, meaning they will last forever. Both products are manufactured in Australia and start at $29 for the stainless-steel Lil Flippa.
Lil Flippa – $29 (stainless steel) or $69 (titanium)
The Lil Flippa is thin and flexible enabling it to slide under delicate foods such as eggs and fish but also sturdy enough to lift heavier items without bending or buckling. At just 1mm thick and due to its ergonomic design, this tool can squeeze into a small space and its length allows chefs and home cooks to work with precision and comfort. The utensil features wide slates to allow oil to drain through once the food is lifted. The Lil Flippa is available in a choice of titanium or ferritic stainless steel. Titanium has the highest strength to weight ratio than any other metal and is slightly more flexible and stronger. Both are designed to last generations but titanium even longer.
TSS - $69
The TSS stands for Turner, Scraper and Scooper and is a multifunctional tool, set to become the workhorse of the kitchen. Whether it’s scrambling eggs, stir frying or serving up, this is the perfect tool. The asymmetrical head enables efficient turning of food around the pan and the thin edge allows for good contact when scraping the pan. The TSS has a deep side wall for maximum scooping ability and is available in a left and right-handed option. The product is designed to glide seamlessly around the sides of Solidteknics pan radii and is made from ferritic non-nickel stainless steel.
Both products are designed to last forever and be passed down through generations. The utensils come date stamped with the month and year of manufacture and are dishwasher safe, the perfect addition to any kitchen.
Sunshine Coast-based Solidteknics produces wrought iron and ferritic non-nickel stainless steel cookware in its Sydney factory. The cookware come pre-seasoned creating a non-toxic and ever-evolving non-stick surface. All products are designed to be passed through generations, saving countless pans from ending up in landfill. All Solidteknics cookware is wrought from single pieces of Australian iron or stainless steel, meaning there’s no rivets, screws or joins and they will never have synthetic, toxic coatings.
Solidteknics launches all new products via Kickstarter to ensure there is a viable customer base prior to manufacture and therefore creates no overproduction and waste.
