CELEBRATE VALENTINE'S DAY WITH A BESPOKE ONE NIGHT ONLY EXPERIENCE AT KEKOU
Modern Pan Asian dining locale, Kekou, is inviting diners to celebrate love and treat that special someone, whether it’s a partner, friend or family member, with an intimate dinner at one of Richmond’s most loved restaurants. With Valentine’s Day falling on a Monday, Kekou has thought of everything to ensure guests can wind down, enjoy a leisurely evening in the company of a loved one and experience a one night only menu including brand new dishes and a special cocktail.
Diners’ experience will begin with a glass of sparkling rosé on arrival, followed by a unique menu for $89 per person. Chef Oak’s bespoke menu includes spectacular bite-sized sharing dishes to start, including freshly shucked oysters, crispy soft-shell crab, a superb take on char siu pork and a mushroom larb salad. Guests have the choice of four mains, including two dishes never served before; a smoked beef curry that hails from a region on the border of Thailand and Malaysia and a dry tom yum with Moreton Bay bug and egg noodle, inspired by Thai street food.
In addition to Kekou’s wine list which includes a selection of drops from around Australia and extensive line up of craft beers, Kekou’s bar team have created a special cocktail to perfectly complement the flavours and mood of the night. Grover Small Batch Strawberry Gin makes up the cocktail’s base, along with Grand Marnier, a basil and champagne reduction, lemon, aquafaba and garnished with rose petals as a nod to Valentine’s Day.
“We are really excited to be hosting a special one night only dining experience for Valentine’s Day this year. Our menu includes dishes that we’ve never served before, and we can’t wait to hear what our diners think! It’ll be a really great night for new and returning guests to spend with a loved one,” said Venue Manager, Chad McCarthy.
Ensuring guests have a lavish night, Kekou’s candle lit dining room will be spaciously laid out to offer diners privacy and tables will be adorned with bouquets from local florist Glasshaus for a touch of romance.
