Chobani Australia announces face mask range made with Greek yogurt as an April Fool’s gag

This morning, Chobani Australia announced the release of a chilled face mask range made with the natural goodness of Chobani Greek yogurt and rich in active ingredients that help naturally exfoliate and moisturise the skin. Much to the disappointment of skincare fanatics surely keen to try the new product, the announcement was an all-too believable April Fool’s joke.

Taking the natural skincare trend to a whole new level, Chobani’s would-be face mask range included three products: Chobani Anti-Aging Face Mask with rich antioxidants from real blueberries, Chobani Hydrating Face Mask enriched with moisture from real coconuts and a Chobani Brightening Face Mask bursting with Vitamin C from real tropical fruit.

“There’s been a real trend towards natural skincare in recent years which has led people to create treatments such as face masks at home, using regular household staples including Greek yogurt. This inspired us to have a bit of fun with the trend and come up with the idea of Chobani’s own face mask range as an April Fool’s joke. Although some Chobani devotees undoubtedly caught onto the stunt, the concept of a face mask range made from Greek yogurt is not entirely farfetched due to its many natural benefits – setting it up as the perfect April Fool’s gag.
