The Food Truck Park™ launches massive three-day food festival at the valley over AFL Grand Final Weekend
The Valley Racecourse is the place to be this AFL Grand Final Weekend with The Food Truck Park™ set to host a three- day food truck festival extravaganza, marking the first of many exciting culinary events to come between The Food Truck Park™ and Moonee Valley Racing Club (MVRC).
Kicking off on Friday 27th September from 1pm with the Big Chicken and Beer Festival, footy fans and horse racing enthusiasts alike will be able to enjoy chickeny goodness and craft beer, while catching the AFL Grand Final festivities on the big screen and joining in the live action of Ladbrokes Friday Night Lights from 5.30pm, which includes the Group 1 $1M Charter Keck Cramer Moir Stakes.
AFL Grand Final Day on Saturday 28th September at the racecourse will be in full swing as the Sweet Lane Festival takes over, bringing with it all of the AFL Grand Final action on the big screen mixed with sweet indulgence, craft beer, wine and cider, and live entertainment – something for everyone.
The third and final day on Sunday 29th September will be dedicated to the little ones as The Food Truck Park™ presents Kids Food Truck Day Out, complete with family friendly games, rides and the customary line up of gourmet food trucks.
A huge line-up of vendors will be present across the three days, including but not limited to Bok Bok Korean Chicken,O Tuga Tastes of Portugal, Naughty Frenchy, Manny’s Doughnuts, Smoothie Planet, and The Kraken Squid.
General admission on Friday 27th to The Food Truck Park™ & Ladbrokes Friday Night Lights is $25. Enter before 4pm to receive a free Where the Truck Passport, valued at $50 worth of pure foodie delights!
This passport is redeemable on 3x savoury food items and 1x sweet food item PLUS a half price 4 Pines Pacific Ale! Under 17s are FREE, if accompanied by an adult. *under 17s do not qualify for the free Where The Truck Passport.
General admission to The Food Truck Park™ on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th is $5 and attendees can also purchase a Where the Truck Passport for $20 (including FREE entry!), which gets them $50 worth of foodie delights. Under 12s are FREE.
This new partnership between The Food Truck Park™ and MVRC will pertain to the catering and events space at the racecourse and will present a host of exciting new opportunities for both parties including functions, corporate events and The Food Truck Park™ activations.
