Skate into Carnivale at O’Brien Group Arena
Roll up, roll up and skate into Carnivale under the Big Top at the O’Brien Group Arena these spring school holidays from Saturday 22 September to Sunday 7 October.
All the excitement will be on the ice at O’Brien Group Arena these school holidays with circus performers and circus skills for all to see and do.
Performing feats of skill and magic on the ice will be the amazing Patrick Adderley with his skating and juggling spectacular Fire on Ice. Visitors can be up close and personal on the ice as Patrick skates and weaves his way through obstacles whiles juggling sticks of fire!
Not only is Patrick ranked 75th amongst the World’s Top Jugglers but he was the Australian Junior Ice Dance Champion 2012 and 2013.
The Skate into Carnivale program offers all the fun of the fair with a variety of fun and exciting family-friendly activities for all ages.
The School Holiday Carnivale program will include:
· Live circus performer Patrick Adderley - Between 11am and 3pm every day, then head into the craft room for juggling lessons for the kids
· All day unlimited public skating - From 9am to late every day skate with DJ’s playing your favorite music across the two Olympic size ice rinks
· Under 8’s Ice Fun – Between 9am to 11am daily - toys, games and music, plus snow play areas for children to enjoy a totally different toddler experience with Ice Ambassadors to make sure both parents and children have some cool ice fun
· Free Lessons – Beginners. Free with entry and designed to give non skaters the skills they require to enjoy their experience. Every hour from 11am to 2pm daily
The O’Brien Group Arena Ice Ambassadors will be out on the ice to help visitors of all ages improve their ice skating skills.
There will also be plenty of fantastic daily giveaways and prizes to enjoy.
