Eureka 89 are delighted to welcome Robin Wickens of the Royal Mail Hotel to Melbourne for a collaborative dining event. 

One of Australia’s most respected and awarded regional chefs, Robin Wickens of the Royal Mail Hotel in Dunkeld, will prepare a lavish five course dinner designed around the highest quality of his locally sourced produce, at Eureka 89 on Tuesday 12th April 2016.

Working collaboratively with Eureka 89 Executive Chef Renee Martillano, Wickens aims to bring the best of the Grampian region – including the property’s own beef and lamb that has been born and bred in Dunkeld – to the heart of Southbank, Melbourne.

The special event hosted by Eureka 89 will be a rare opportunity for Melburnians to experience the dining maverick’s fresh fare; a chance to satiate their tastebuds with organic heirloom vegetables, herbs, edible flowers, fruit and nuts straight from the Dunkeld kitchen garden, the largest working restaurant kitchen garden in Australia.

At an astounding 300 metres above sea level, Eureka 89 is a spectacular location for Wickens and the Royal Mail Hotel to showcase its cuisine, accompanied by wines chosen from the renowned restaurant’s comprehensive and varied collection.

Known for its locally focused menu and incredible Grampians National Park setting, the Royal Mail Hotel will deliver a one-of-a-kind experience against a stunning Melbourne backdrop at Eureka 89.
