The soon-to-be released second edition of culinary travel book Flavours of Urban Melbourne from Smudge Publishing takes the guesswork out of your next meal, delving deeper into the culinary scene of the city’s suburbs.
With more than 55,000 copies of Flavours of Melbourne and Flavours of Urban Melbourne in circulation, Smudge Publishing is the expert when it comes to culinary travel.
Available from Thursday, 25 February 2016, Flavours of Urban Melbourne provides fresh insight into the ever-changing hospitality offering with brand new venues, recipes, design and photography.
The publication is divided into five sections; North, South, East, West and Bayside, and includes descriptions and recipes from more than 120 cafés, patisseries, fine-dining restaurants, casual eateries, wine bars and breweries, as well as insights from some of Melbourne’s top chefs.
Flavours of Urban Melbourne is filled with beautiful illustrations from local illustrator Ellen Porteus and stunning photography by Katie Wilton, Amanda Davenport and Kevin Li.
The book highlights the unique aspects of urban Melbourne’s dining landscape, featuring venues such as Anchovy, Bibelot, Burch & Purchese, Combi, Cutler & Co, Donovans, Easey’s, Estelle by Scott Pickett, Hellenic Republic, Kong, Mr Miyagi, Rice Queen, Smith & Daughters, Transformer and Uncle.
