‘Bee’ Inspired by the flawless views and flavours at Eureka 89
bella - January 17th, 2016
Eureka 89 will once again showcase its outstanding produce and culinary talents at the 2016 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival with Bee Inspired, an event that will celebrate its strong sense of identity, community and connection to the local environment.
On Wednesday 9th March, Bee Inspired will take place on the top floor of the iconic Eureka Tower, at Eureka 89, and will offer an interpretation of Melbourne Food and Wine Festival’s ‘Sense of Place’ theme through locally sourced rooftop honey from Melbourne City Rooftop Honey in each of its 5 courses.
Eureka 89 embraces the community that bees bring through its very own giant bees perched on the side of the building. It is a superb artwork that reinforces the important role of bees in our environment, through pollination and food production.
The food narrative will give guests the chance to connect their dining experience from the Southern Hemisphere’s highest restaurant to honey rooftop stations across Melbourne city.
Bee Inspired is proudly part of Melbourne Food and Wine Festival presented by Bank of Melbourne (4 March – 13 March 2016). Taking you on a journey to new frontiers of flavour in some of Victoria’s most spectacular settings from famous dining spots to unexpected venues, rooftop bars to hidden cellars, plus extraordinary locations across regional Victoria.
